Wait. "Who are the 'Wesleyans?'"
Wesleyans believe in God, who is Father, Son, and Spirit. We believe God loves all men and women, and desires to be in relationship with them. We believe faith in Jesus Christ alone is the way to eternal life. In our relationships with Christ, we are called to be holy, meaning we are called to love God with all that we are and to love others. We believe the Bible is the Word of God, and we strive to live in accordance with its teaching. We believe the Great Commission to go and make disciples of all nations is our mission as a local church in the Spartanburg / Greenville community, but also as a part of the global Church.
On a basic level, The Wesleyan Church, has 5 core values:
1. Biblical Authority
4. Local-Church Centered
5. Servant Leadership

At LWC, we strive to be a place where you can grow closer to God and we want to equip and empower you to grow deeper in relationship to God and to others. We believe that happens best within the context of our vision, which has 3 components:
Faith is the foundation of living in relationship with God. We're not meant to do life alone, so we emphasize growing deeper with others. Hope is the message of the Gospel, and as believers we are called to be servants.
Regardless of what your church experience has shaped into, we believe God desires to have an active role not only in your life, but in the life of your family, the lives of your friends, and the lives of your co-workers. We also believe that God desires to further His Kingdom in Spartanburg and Greenville counties through our influence as a church. While that sounds big, we believe God is calling us to dream big and we believe that together, we can be a transforming presence!
